I'm sorry about being so negative before I was so excited about the book and then I read that I'm kind of laughing about it now, I think I got over the disappointment already

Sheila - no worries...back in the day...like way back in the day...when I watched Dawson's Creek (so I was in high school) they had some books published too which were basically fanfic as well. I suppose I liked some of them, but there were probaby some I didn't care for. The only connection the books had to the show DC was actually having the same characters.

A lot of shows have "unofficial" books released. Sometimes comics, too. I never pay them any mind. I was really only curious, because I'm a curious kinda gal. Sounds like a terrible waste of money, though.
The only time I would ever consider a book or comic to be canonical is if it is written by (or endorsed/sanctioned) by the show's creator, as is the case with the Buffy comics or the Veronica Mars novels written by Rob Thomas. |

I liked the book about VM that was published A lot better than this one that's for sure
I'll try to erase from my mind I've ever bought/read the book and pray the author isn't related to the show in any way PS. The funniest thing is that the book ends in kind of a cliffhanger , like sorry but I'm not buying more of your books __________________

Hi again. I'm back for the night. So, I take it we decided not to do a 1x20 rewatch tonight? I'll probably rewatch on my own anyway...for reasons - i.e., #sexgod Commander Francis and the beginning of Freith.
Sheila - Thanks for explaining a little about the book. Sounds awful. I'm sorry it was so disappointing, and I hope you can forget it. And yes, don't buy more of their books, even if it ended on a cliffhanger. Sticking with books written or endorsed/sanctioned by the show's creator is a good rule to follow, Rachel. I'd take both the memory eraser and Will Smith. __________________

Hope the DVD release today/tomorrow brings us better things than the book
And sorry again for bringing my disappointment here, I just needed to rant a little over it __________________
