I always wonder the same thing about movies like this. How was Sando able to afford to live in that house? I suppose there is some money in winning surfing contests - especially if you win A LOT. But I don't think they pay that well, and he apparently hasn't competed for a while.
It's just a thing I do. It always bugs me when movies have characters living fairly nice lives with no indication of how they pay for it. __________________
