Can anyone recommend any good Mentalist fan fiction?

I'm particularly interested in fics from the era of the first four seasons, since I haven't quite broached Seasons 5 or 6 yet - but I'll be getting there soon, so if there's a "can't miss" story from later seasons that you want to recommend, feel free - just let me know it's got 5/6 spoilers.

I'm happy to take recommendations for a single story, or for authors who are particularly good.

I'm interested in the Jane/Lisbon pairing, but a story doesn't have to have a romance angle to keep me interested. I really like long, multi-chapter fics. Any rating is fine.

And yes - I've started to read Nicole's fics, but so few of hers are limited to the earlier seasons.

Search for anything written by "tromana." I don't do well at remembering content of most summaries or A/N's but I think she usually has spoiler warnings since she is completely spoiler free (i.e. she's only following my fanfic account on twitter because I tweet about press releases and stuff on my main one) so you can use that or publish dates to restrict to earlier seasons, and you have zero fear of accidentally finding anything out. I don't know how much of her stuff is multi-chapter, but I can't recommend her enough.

Thanks for the recommendation - and the link. I took a quick peek and tromana is certainly prolific! The publish date does help, but this isn't the first time I've wished that fanfiction.net had some additional tags for stories - like season. Even with shows that I'm fully caught up on, sometimes I like to go back to stories from a specific season.

Alright, I have a game. A fanfic game, I promise this is on topic.

So I'm writing that "Vega survives" fic, and I thought it'd be fun (well at the very least for me) to do that little game that they played with us before episodes at the beginning of the season, where they provide lines from it and we try and guess who said it. Now I will tell you that all of these are either "Vega," "Wylie," "Lisbon," "Jane," "Cho," "Abbott," or "other" to encompass any random characters.

1. "This place doesn't exist. Not to the world."
2. "Wylie, is this your idea of a joke? Because I'm not laughing."
