They did a great show about the 1000th NCIS episode - that includes all the franchises combined. The 1000th episode will be on the original show and apparently Gibbs will be back for that episode.

They also have a series in the works called NCIS: Origins that goes back to when Gibbs originally joined NCIS. Mark Harmon is supposed to be very involved in that. I doubt he'll actually appear very much, but he may do narration from the point of view of the older Gibbs - sort of like Jim Parsons does the adult Sheldon on Young Sheldon.
