I am going to Watch the Movie this christmas

Heard it was supposed to be better then the first one.

Neither have I and I have no plans to.

Left work early because I was in pain....should fade within 24 hrs. I just could move around that much and be in that kind of pain.

Yeah I'm not a big LotR person. Tried reading the books, got bored. At some point I'll probably try the books again but I don't have any current plans to see any of the movies. I still haven't seen Catching Fire but all my friends have, so I probably will end up waiting until it's on Netflix.

I haven't seen Catching Fire either, Dad keeps mentioning he wants to go see it with me though...knowing I read the book. My job hasn't allowed me to go watch a movie...that or I'm always busy with other thing. I may wait to DVD and rent from RedBox or something. I don't have a Netflix account.

For any Hunger Games fans, Catching Fire is a must!

So much better than the first one and very close to the book. It really was perfect.

I like LoTR but I haven't seen any of the Hobbit movies ... I might watch both when the second one is on DVD

I'm just hesitating because 1. Catching Fire wasn't at all what I was hoping for (I wanted to see Katniss as a mentor almost as bad as I want my ships to get together) and 2. I liked each book progressively worse (don't even talk to me about Mockingjay, seriously) so it's harder to get up and go to the movies.

I haven't seen Catching Fire

Partly because I don't have that much money

But I also haven't read the books so its not that important to me but LOTR/The Hobbit is my one of my favs.

I'm the same in that THG was my favourite book and then CF and then MJ but the difference wasn't too big for me. Eventhough CF wasn't what we expected (I think a lot of us thought she and Peeta will be mentors) but I didn't really hate the alternative that Suzanne went with because she handled it well (again IMO). And actually seeing the movie made me appreciate the book even more.
