That they had been together for five years was said so, but in acting it seems to me that they were only starting to jell in the first few episodes, and I got the feeling that there were more mutual discoveries between them than understanding.

I always think at first that Sheriff Nelson is actually Sheriff McAllister.

I also love TakeCharge! Lisbon - telling the Sheriff "We don't assist, we take over" and dressing down his deputies about not making assumptions.
