Yeah that's true. Maybe we'll see her more in the last two Bloodlines books.

Think it may be needed to finish off the storyline of Bloodlines

AHh okay. I think I can understand Rose's actions.. regarding that moment a bit more now Not to mention, everything she said to Adrian was spot on, He just wouldn't admit it then.

Finished the series a few weeks ago. This book really dragged on to me, probably my least favorite of the series. By the end, it got more interesting but I didn't like some of the endings like Rose ending up with Dmitri (although it was obvious that she would), Rose not being shadowkissed anymore and Tasha being the bad guy (although she was on my list of possible suspects). I did like that Lissa became queen and Jill being her sister is pretty cool. Surprised that they had Rose kill Victor. I can't believe after this, they have a book focused on Sydney. She was one of the few characters I never got into. I don't know if it's because I listen to the audiobooks but she always came off as grating. I would have preferred if the next series focused on Jill or maybe Lissa. And I hear

Ah yeah, I can understand that if you don't like Rose/Dimitri, it would be hard to like some of the books.
For me, it's my favourite book. You had to have the progress for RD, because they were always going to end up together... like everything they went through wouldn't be for nothing. I liked Lissa becoming Queen too And the Jill reveal. I think it would work best as a TV series, or TV movies I liked the academy setting, but I feel its when they left things got more interesting, but I do miss the academy , but they couldn't stay there forever. In terms of the spinoff.. yeah, its based on Sydney.. and Adrian. The first few books were good, but some.. not so much. I too would have preferred Jill to be the protagonist. But I guess she wanted the explore the Alchemist world. But we do have Jill, Eddie in the spinoff. The Tasha reveal made no sense to me, even now after re-read the book. I'm finally giving Bloodlines a chance now - slow at first but it's starting to peak my interest. __________________

Yeah, a TV show would provide them be at the academy for a few seasons
Glad you're giving Bloodlines a shot. It's definitely more slow paced, but still, entertaining. |
