Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio | Kelly Burkhardt
Kelly Burkhardt's first appearance in Grimm was in Episode 1x22, "The Woman in Black." (Season 1 Finale)
She is introduced as Nick's mother, thought dead since he was a boy. Subsequently, she appeared in 2x01, "Bad Teeth" and 2x02, "The Kiss," finally killing the horrific Mauvais Dentes who had been sent to Portland to kill her son. While there, she had a violent fight with Catherine Schade, a Hexenbiest, which resulted in the latter's death. She returned in Season 3, Episode 17, "Synchronicity," involved with the Resistance in the rescue of Adalind Schade and her baby daughter; and in 3x18, "The Law of Sacrifice," ending the episode as she left Portland, alone with the powerful baby. Thanks for creating the thread!!
Some other reoccurring ones... Alexis Denisof, and Jessica Tuck. And our newest guest C. Thomas Howell, who I love so I was excited to see him on the show. It might look like he will become a reoccurring character too Single appearances... I can only think of Danielle Panabaker. __________________

Thanks for the comments!
I wanted to have something on record for Ms. Mastrantonio but we never made a thread for her and woudn't really need one. The show gets a lot of terrific guests, so a general Guest Star thread seemed appropriate. Please make posts about your favorites! You'll be able to come back and edit them if they return, just as if it was an OP. btw, we do have an individual thread for Alexis Denisof but it hasn't had much traffic. We thought he'd have more to do in the series. Natacha, Amy Acker's "Tarantella" was the first Grimm episode I watched, just because she was in it! __________________

Thanks, Nikki! Grimm gets such wonderful guests, it was way past time to have a thread for them.
Hopefully, we can all work together to bring them up to date here. Suggestions will be welcome, too. __________________

That's right, Marilyn. It was because I saw her on OUAT that I wanted to watch her episode on Grimm.
Those were majorly different characters! So even though I no longer watch OUAT, I thank it for turning me on to Grimm! __________________

Does anyone know who was the actor in 3x19 playing the King, Eric and Renard's father? He was very menacing, and not in a nice way.
