Sherry my friend moved into a new place. I hope her former landlord compensates her some since the moldy smell made it uninhabitable given her health issues.

oh dear. What a shame. Depending on the circumstances, she could probably get some relief in Small Claims Court if the landlord refuses to compensate her otherwise.
Did she have any renters insurance?

No they don't provide child care or even money for one. And on top of it found out husband works graveyard next week so he can't watch the girls at all while I am there. He won't even stay up for 2 hours after he get home to drop Isabel off at school. Now I am stressed.

Uh-oh. Have you considered asking the court for a hardship exemption from jury duty? You could possibly get one under the circumstances.
It doesn't serve justice to have jurors stressed about family matters.

The judge knew and didn't care. Yet he let someone else leave because of it. Sigh.

She has insurance but she acted fast and little of her stuff was damaged. Unfortunately, she has moved from her own place to sharing a house (basically she is renting a room). Thankfully, I have extra space so she is able to store all here kitchen stuff and extra furnature here. He boyfriend is allergic to cats so staying with me long term wasn't a good option...I guess he was reacting to her clothes after she was just here for a few days. He didn't come here and the cats aren't even in the guess room and I try to keep up on the housework. I know some people are really sensitive.

That's a bummer! I hope the trail doesn't happen or last a much shorter time!

Thank you, Sherry, and yes. I'm preparing for two art shows and then I got an inspiration so I am staying out of trouble by being super busy.

I'm just here to say that after the long winter today the snow is totally gone from my property. There was a small patch out back in the shade that my dog would dive into after her walks and roll and scratch her back in.
All gone with only brown grass and a few 2" daffodil shoots coming up. Oh, and pussywillows on the trail abound. Two weeks ago I saw a snapping turtle lounging in the warm waters that from from a tube factory along the trail.

Spring has sprung.
