Does anyone have a good book recommendation? I'm not interested in idiotic romances

Any particular genres? Or just anything other romance?

From the books I've read recently: Frankenstein, Game of Thrones series, Brighton Rock, The Day of The Triffids and The Midwich Cuckoos. (If you've seen the original Village of the Damned you'll know the story as it's very faithful to the book).

I am big fan of fantasy and science-fiction. I also like Kathy Reichs and I'm not a big fan of crime books.

I am glad that you had a nice time with your mom, Donna.

I recently read the book the movie Lone Survivor was based on, it is a true story and it was heartbreaking, but good.

Nothing in particular, but I do like sci-fi and fantasy too. And I like some romances, but most of them are too cheesy and after the first chapter I can already predict how it will end

I've read Frankenstein. I'll take a look at your suggestions

Have you read any of Terry Pratchett's Dicsworld novels? He's my favourite author,

Romances generally end with the couple together, no matter how much of a complete so-and-so the "hero"'s been. I'm more of a fan of proper love stories (the couple don't necessarily end up together).

No, I'm not familiar with the books. I'll take a look next time I go to the bookstore.

If the journey is interesting, I have nothing against the couple ending together, but most of the times it's just the usual cliché.

My neighbors came over and shoveled our sidewalk and steps as well as put down deicer. The snow is almost melted. We can go out on Wednesday.
