It's sad to see G'iah being so brainwashed by that skrull terrorist leader. I'm calling it, her father will be killed by them at some point and that will make her come to her senses and she will feel sad and angry at herself for having served the wrong people for so long and not having been able to see through their lies before. That is a common writing trope, I've seen it in so many films, shows and books.

I think it was her tbh, and she died. Female characters are more likely to be killed off to move forward the plot than male ones in sexist hollywood.

Ross will surely return at some point though.

i hope she already notices she is brainwashed when Talos told her about her mother's death. i hope Talos won't die - he is my favorite together with G'iah.

Some reviews said this one was very slow and the next one is when it picks up. I didn't feel like this was slow, so I am excited for the second

But wow didn't see many things coming at all. First episode and so much happened!

This is the MCU we want, we asked for it we received it. The first episode gave us the side of Marvel we all liked, even tho the episode have it slow moments, we have to remind ourselves this is a drama espionage show. I truly hope people can be patient with it. The last moments of the show are intense and cold with evil from our villain who can't be stopped by Fury. The first 8 minutes have an amazing chase scene with some intense sequence that we can rarely see on the MCU and like I've said we asked for it and Marvel delivered it. Emilia as stunningly as always, Olivia Coleman gave us pure acting what she's know to do. Ben is awesome, so is Samuel L. Jackson. The MCU is back with this SECRET INVASION.

a very solid start and i am more than patient. i love them taking their time and building everything up. love the dark tune and seriously, nobody is safe.

From the cinematography to the lighting I became excited, love how grounded the show is and also how it's gritty, I'm filled with intrigue and the political paranoia and spy espionage aspect of the MCU.

It did have its slow moments here in there but besides that this is a fantastic start and it's only going upward from here. I can 100% tell this show will be one of Marvel's best, up there with Wandavision and Loki for sure!

Oh wow, i thought it was a fast episode with quite a bit of action overall tbh.

I think so too, that it will be among the top 3 or even top 2 shows of the mcu.
