Me too, by that point I thought if they didn't kill him in S5 in the fighting pits then he's still here for a reason. I was a little bit concerned when he joined the boys trip over the wall but again, he must have made it back for a reason, and he survived after all.

When he survived season 5 and got greyscale I knew he'd have a great storyline ahead of him and I am glad it was Sam who rescued him.
