If that's the case, it makes things more understandable. She would have never loved someone who hurt her without batting an eyelash. Her own mother had been raped constantly by her father.

halo effect? mhm no, there are plenty of other reasons i loved her. but certainly not for her relationship with Kahl Drogo or all the abuse. when i watched the first few episodes i certainly didn't ship Dany/Drogo either. i started to like them when Dany started to like him.

and as for Dany, i always loved her.

It was on some Facebook group. What they had been trying to say was that we all viewed Dany in this really positive, heroic light.
