It was a Disney end for the Starks

who I also happened to like much much much less in S8. In fact of the very main characters the only one to get a tragic end is Dany (and Jon's wasn't brilliant depending on how you see it)

This show was my escapism, even when characters I loved died, they could have killed literally everyone by the end and I'd still be happier if the ending made sense, was paced well and was true to the characters. This rushed mess was awful.

for the Stark kids yes. everyone loved the Starks from the beginning, me too, but in season 8 they got on my nerves so much. literally everyone of them - except of Arya maybe. her ending was the only fitting one imo (though i always thought she just wanted to go home and reunite with her family. her staying in Winterfell would have also made sense).

so true! i am not mad that Dany died. i am mad about HOW. how everything turned out in the end. how they destroyed so much what they had built up over the years.

i suppose Kahl Drogo also had a good ending, getting the chance to get out this as soon as he could lol. it was a good step to never bring him to Westeros. they all should have stayed in Essos.

This really, really disturbs me. If that's true, then how did she fall in love with Drogo? That's a troubling narrative. I remember reading about women who fell for their rapists in romance novels as a kid and it freaked me out.

I agree. She keeps saying that surviving rape made her stronger,but she also told Drogo that he was her sun and stars.
