i loved her journey and what makes the book so special is just the lovable character Lou. but to be honest i couldn't warm up with her and Sam. and this has nothing to do with Will, it's just i didn't buy Sam's character or the way he is. can't explain it, he just wasn't my cup of tea.

I was more fascinated by her character growth and the storyline with Agnes and Margot instead of Sam. I wished a happy ending for her love life but that wasn't the most important aspect in this book for me.

I was doubtful Moyes could make this work, but she did. Beautifully. This story is funny, tender, wry, romantic, self reflective and so much more. I hated to see it finish. I appreciated the more richly diverse characters we meet in this novel also.
Sadly I doubt there is any chance to make the sequels happen on screen. __________________
