Some of the actors really didn't know how to handle all the reactions and pissed off the fandom even more

I was very disappointed with Kit's reaction. I could definitely understand that he wouldn't criticise D&D and that he has an emotional attachment to GOT from the inside, but that did not mean he had to insult those who didn't like it. Same with Peter, there was no need to lash out at the audience and downplay the many well thought explanations as to why fans are unhappy as just petty fans being upset they didn't get the ending they wanted.
Emilia showed how you can handle this in a civil and dignified manner and she has earned mad respect from me for it. I have no interest in a sequel unless it somehow could fix the mess from S8, which is very extremely unlikely. I have been unenthusiastic about HOTD but I am still way more likely to watch that one than a Jon Snow sequel. |

Same here and I will watch none of the spin offs. GOT as such is done for me.

Only if house of the dragon is successful enough to get another season I think.

If the Jon Snow sequel depends on the success of HoD spin off, I hope it flops. Sorry not sorry.

I would have been so hyped for an adaptation of the Dance of the Dragons pre season 8. There's a lot of stories in the past of Westeros that are interesting and TDOTD is one of the most developed ones.
But meh, I'll see how I feel after the season airs. But the Jon Snow one I am definitely not interested in, as someone on reddit put it "If I wanted to watch Jon Snow f around in the snow I'd watch seasons 1-4 again". At least there was good writing based off the source material, and seemingly it was building up to something. |

Everything pre GOT would be easier for me to watch - everything afterwards just feels flat.

I am never rewatching. One thing is a show having an anticlimactic ending, another thing is when the ending retroactively ruins what came before. Knowing everything interesting about the characters will vanish, many plots will never have closure, everything stops making sense and is far too rushed, it ruins even the amazing parts of the show in seasons 1-4. It is a shame as I truly loved it once.
