Thanks But I really want them to be in character as much as possible, that's the way I love them. Their personalities is one big reason why I think they would complement each other so well. Besides, it also contributes to angst and I love angsty fanfics!

Another difficult thing is the pacing. I do not want them to develop their relationship too quickly because that wouldn't be realistic but at the same time I don't want the storyline to go forward too slowly either.

I am writing right now and it feels rather good, lots of dialogue between our main characters awaits

It completely depends on how inspired I feel and how tired/alert I feel. Do you mean the actual writing time or just the time between every new chapter? Because one writing session could take all from 30 minutes up to two hours. Then when I am finished I have to read it through a few times and correct things (spelling errors, grammatical errors etc.). I would say that one chapter takes everything between six and eight hours in total to finish. I only write when I am in my bed at evening/night because that's when I can concentrate the best

thanks for the answer Julia, very interesting to see. i mostly write in the morning since then i am the most creative. i guess if i'd write a fanfic it would also take me several hours to finish a chapter. if i could ever bring myself to finish one
