I am still really upset with how the writers character assassinated Dany this season. No matter how much they screwed her over, I still don't see her as a monster. To me, Dany was someone who knew exactly who she was and that was someone who wanted to help others break out of their chains, because she has been a prisoner of terrible circumstances and a dark family legacy her entire life, she has always distanced herself from it and has proven throughout these seasons how she is nothing like her Father. She wanted others to experience liberation from their chains and the governments that have enslaved them. She's a symbol to those that are trying to break out of their own chains in life, to fight for what they know is theirs..to help others break out of their chains. To make someone that is an inspiration and turn them into a cold-hearted murderer is unforgivable.

What really pisses me of is that I feel like we were so close to having a decent episode. If Dany has just flown straight to the red keep and taken the fight to Cersei, I would have been okay with it. If you absolutely needed chaos in the streets you could have had Cersei set off all the wildfire cause we all know that woman would rather burn the city down than surrender. Dany is pissed and rightly so, but taking it out on innocent people is not her. She would go for the tyrant, she could burn the red keep to the ground, have drogon eat Cersei, destroy the throne itself, anything where her anger is directed at what she actually hates.

It would've also been much more logical. An evil person doesn't turn nice all of a sudden and a actually just person doesn't turn into a monster just like that. Plus it would've been very cersei like to actually (if she can't save her unborn child) to at least revenge it and blow up kings landing with probably killing some of the "good" main characters. With the bittersweetness being that yes they defeated cersei but maybe jon and/or arya dying in the process and some blaming dany for it. It would've pissed me off, but it would've still been written well and very GOT like, unlike what they really did.

The remake petition already has over 400k subscribers, esterday it was 50k. I hope it will get a few million maybe, so even if they don't remake it likely, it will still haunt D&D and HBO.
