With everything he's been gone through and being betrayed by people around him esp. Peter, I don't blame him for not smiling a lot. When your hurts you don't smile a lot at all and you mostly just fake smile.

I think Derek just doesn't want to pretend so doesn't smile altogether and it's so sad.

I didn't mean he should've smiled more after everything that has happened to him, I just want him to smile more in the future aka have more reasons to it. I believe good things will come to him soon, and I really hope that part of the good things will be his relationship with Stiles. Who's a better person to make people smile or laugh than him, right
