I really hope not
 The fandom is already annoyed with some of the Sheriff's decisions this season, and if he asks Scott before Stiles.. it is going to cause a huge eruption __________________

The Sheriff has said plenty of times that he trusts Scott over Stiles, so I can see him asking Scott.
