It was like they both lost everything but can't really blame them esp. with the two most important people in their lives have been taking taken by a sacrificing serial killer something.

I loved that Scott even with his mom being taken.. stills takes the time to directly say to Stiles that he will find his dad.. these two have such a strong connection.. they basically feel each others pain and they want to do everything to help each other
