I totally agree that Simmons needs to choose Fitz on her own, and I was hoping that she would do it in this ep. Turns out, she just kept waffling about maybe possibly being in love with Will, and I'm getting whiplash trying to figure her out after she seemed so certain about Fitz last week.

It's still possible that Jemma will have that moment over the next two eps before they find out Will is the Inhuman. It's also possible that Will comes back and it's a while before the folks at SHIELD realize he isn't who he says he is, although I tend to think this will be revealed at least to the audience in the midseason finale.

Also I've rewatched the kiss now and Jemma goes in for a third kiss as Fitz pulls back and say they are cursed. She wanted to keep kissing but I totally understand why Fitz doesn't want to go too far down the rabbit hole because of Will and her feelings for him.
