I know Skye won't be fighting May in episode 2x09, it'll be Agent 33, but I can imagine how much fun Chloe and Ming-Na had doing that fight scene together.

 It was kind of creepy/strange to see Ming-Na and Chloe fighting... but it wasn't really them  __________________

I listened to this week's podcast with gentlemen from the stunt department and they talked about how, even months before the season started filming, Chloe and Ming reached out to the lads to help make them fit(-er) for stunts for the season ahead.

I can see why, they've been very action heavy this season. It's pretty awesome that they do a lot of there own stunts.

Yeah, I love that they take it so seriously! Chloe mentioned before that she had been training all summer before filming, it's great that they're so dedicated to it.
One thing struck me during my rewatch of the last episode though, do you figure they gave Skye bangs this year so that it would be easier to switch her out with a stunt double in the fight scenes? I noticed during her fight with Agent 33 that there were a lot of shots where she conveniently had her bangs covering her face __________________

I'm more inclined to think Chloe just wanted a change. I've noticed when Bobbi fights her hair is often in her face, too. |

Yeah, I think it was more of a personal choice for Chloe.
 It did seem like Chloe did a lot of the fighting herself, so good on her. |

The AoS team cut her hair so I figured it was a mutual decision. But then, if I had an awesome hair team at my exposal I wouldn't get a hair cut on my own time either, so who knows

Ahh, I hadn't realised the hair people on the show cut her hair. Maybe the new hair cut was partly character based, then! To give a physical aspect to the change in Skye this year.
