Me too. Since Clark is back as an entirely different character, the writers would be able to do the same thing for Brett.

I'd love to see that. Brett and Clark always worked well together. But didn't Sarge say that his whole family was dead?

Yeah, but his team mates aren't necessarily family. But I got my doubts that there are any more team mates we haven't seen. There was the one who got stuck crossing over when they first arrived.
