I'd have to say that my favorite to date is the Battleship scene too. Very normal and with ease, just how I see them interacting most of the time.

I love the battleship scene too but when he told her about his big brother and having to defend his little brother, I loved learning about Ward's past and how he got to this place and that he opened up to Skye about it.

Thanks! Its great to be here, i think that Grant & Skye have had a lot of nice scenes b/w them where they're slowly starting to open up to each other. First we had Grant telling Skye about his brothers and later on she opened up about one of the foster families she lived in... a slow build with its ups and downs is great!

Not so much Grant/Skye in this ep but Ward is still icy towards her. Skye is trying her best but she's not getting through him although she understands. I'm glad Ward doesn't know the real reason yet for Skye's betrayal. I love that little bit with them in the control room (?) where they were watching Simmons and how helpless Ward feels not being able to help Simmons. You see a great character development for Ward that in times like this, his skill & combat won't help.

Yeah, I was hoping for more scenes with them.

I'm thankful they got that one nice scene, though. And I was sort of expecting for them to patch things up at the end of the episode. Hopefully, that will happen in the upcoming episodes. It's interesting that Ward is holding a bigger grudge than others. I think it's because of his nature and also maybe because he's sort of falling for her.

Not much of them in last night's ep though that makes sense because it was a Jemma (well Fitz-Simmons) focused episode. But what we did get was great.

I'm not surprised that Ward is still a little cold to her. Because of his nature, it's clear he can't trust anyone easily, and if you break that trust, he will hold you at arm's length probably forever. It's clear he's not he best at having any kind of relationship. So it takes a lot to let anyone get too close to him, and he now he probably feels foolish. I mean, after all he's her trainer, and he's obviously developing feelings for her, even if he doesn't realize it, so I think he's mad at himself because instead of being the good little indifferent solider that he normally is, he let his guard down, and actually connected with this girl, only for her to turn out to a "liar", and someone he thinks he can't trust. So now, he's returning to his old behavior, freezing her out, not letting her get close. But you can see the ice starting to thaw. He's going to realize that he's can't push her away, like he probably has everyone else in the past. Also, I like that the writers didn't go for a quick fix, as in him just being told about her parents, instead of him learning to trust her again on his own. I think it's more organic for him (not to mention good character development) that way.
