I think even if Sarge didn't look like Coulson, if he ended up actually giving her a reason to trust him, then she might.
So I think it really depends on the situation. I wouldn't say a complete no, that she wouldn't trust him if he didn't look like Coulson. But I kind of feel like him looking like Coulson has a little bit more sway for her. Then again, with May it's hard to tell, cuz she does do that thing where she shows no emotion, like how she seems to be doing now.

Hasn't she been forced to do enough? I don't mean people controlling her, but her actions in certain situations where someone needs to do something or they're going to deal with worse things. I mean the events in Bahrain, when her husband was a hair's breath away from turning into Lash and she had to lock him up at the ATCU facility... Doesn't she deserve a break from having to be 'that' person?

in many ways you are correct she has been through a lot but i also think with her she wants to be the one to do it so she knows its done , which is sad she needs a hug
