I still don't know how I feel about the show overall, but I do know that I will keep watching as long as Coulson is on the show.

Overall, I'm liking the show since I enjoy genres like this. It's not a great show but I'm hoping that it picks up more as we get into the meat of this season.

I liked Coulson in this ep. There were complaints elsewhere that he's getting cheesy with his lines but this ep had very little LOLs and more talk slash drama if you can call it. He volunteered to be on this mission because he didn't want Melinda May for more combat (probably Bahrain-related). And then to make him see one of his allies turn evil (and one of the greatest villains in the Marvel universe) which from the looks of it, we'll probably see Franklin Hall again (I hope and as Graviton). He didn't use protocol to get rid of the element because '"it was what Hall would've wanted". Also, he's getting rusty. Tahiti comes to my mind once again.

I also don't think it's a great programme, but I'm enjoying it so far, and I've only seen the first two episodes, so I'm not surprised it's not the best tv programme ever. Just yet.

I'm looking forward to seeing the next episode on Friday and I really like Coulson and want to know what actually happened to him.

I didnt see anything wrong with him volunteering, he knows that May didnt want to be in the field, he did what anyone would do. And he's not just there for comedic relief, he's an interesting character outside of that.

Same. We're getting it in doses every ep and again I don't want him to be a clone. I think with the muscle problem, the writers are teasing the fandom about him being a LMD. HA! I don't want to be fooled by these people.

I also wonder what the rest of the agents know. Melinda knows he died but I think she doesn't know what exactly happened.

I really don't get why anyone would be complaining about him doing the op, Melinda really didn't want combat and the best way to lead is by example, he did the op, once it was all over Melinda caved and agreed to start doing ops.

I also wonder why he didn't want to fully destroy the element? Out of respect for Hall and because it was what he would've wanted? He also didn't want it listed which could backfire in the future. That was pretty risky of Coulson to do so I'd like to see the fall out of this soon.
