Teenage years have zero appeal to me, I hated them in real life and more often than not hate them in fiction as well


I like the canon fics because sometimes they fill in some blanks that the show didn't in ways that are even better than the show could've. Also, we get to see what the character was thinking and feeling, which sometimes isn't clear on screen.

The fill in the gap fics can be awesome, particularly with Cosima/Delphine who have heaps of moments that could be expanded on. I'm not big on the OB fics that talk about the whole show in canonverse, simply because the conspiracy can get out of hand. But little moments in canon, I like those.

^ That's exactly what I mean by canon, Cophine stuff I don't need fanfic about Neolution/DYAD/Topside/etc

I still can't think of any though! Just LadyZepher's unfinished hut fic. Or there's also obfrankenfics 31 questions, or some amount of questions, that is also unfinished.

I haven't forgotten or forgiven the loss of Transhumance. If the writer had stopped writing it at a mundane point, fine, it'd be fine, but nooooooooo, no, no, instead Cophine came down heartbroken from the mountain, Delphine had to choose her husband over Cosima and she's pregnant with his child and that's what I'm left with for forever.

I mean not continuing fics is irksome at the best of times, but leaving a fic unfinished at the characters lowest juncture is the worst.

Lately I've only been reading ones from familiar authors. Supergirl fanfic has kept me preoccupied lately, but I still keep the OB fanfic tab open on my phone in case I feel like searching for something else.
