[hopeless romantic]

I've just gotta say, as a bona fide member of Clone Club, that I don't like this title, and I find it more than a bit offensive that Fanforum is hosting a forum for a show that disses the show as regularly as this one does.

FanForum is a discussion board and that doesn't necessarily mean it has to always be positive. I don't think any of us would bother posting here if we truly hated the show. The title simply reflects that when canon is not living up to expectations that we always have fanfic to give us what we'd like to see more of.

Exactly! It's just so sad that it happens that way. If Cosima starts pulling away because she's afraid she's going to mess up and Delphine starts feeling lonely and neglected because of that, then it's no wonder they broke up. Particularly since Delphine has moved across the world to be with Cosima. It all hurts so much.

As far as I can see it's mostly dissing the past season which had a lot of problems. Prior to S3 this forum was all round a much more positive place.

I also think this title is fine for a thread about fanfiction. Fanfic's origins are rooted in the fact that people wrote stories for their favourite characters when a show couldn't deliver what fans wanted to see. Fanfic is a response both in order to celebrate a show and it's characters and also to "fix" character resolutions and stories if it doesn't meet fan expectations, thus I see no reason why this title is a problem for a fanfic thread.

At least Cosima is starting to pull away from David. Maybe its my raging lesbianism talking but hes so gross. I really don't think David believes shes a lesbian because she has had sex with him and a few other dudes. He probably sees her as bi at most and just humors her when she says shes a lesbian. He will be in for a shock when he finds out Cosima is actually in love with Delphine. Speaking of which, I liked her little coming out scene. It might blow up later, but she is not ashamed of who she is and who she loves.

In many respects I really don't blame David if he doubts it, Cosima does sleep with him and occasionally other men after all.... but damn if I want to read about it. I had to skim through the final third of the last chapter. It may be Cosima distancing herself from him physically, but I really didn't need to read a ~lengthy-ish sexual encounter between them.

I did like the Delphine bit though. She's so in love and so unafraid of it. Oh Delphine.

I was so grossed out by that sex scene. I think the way this chapter was written, with Cosima pulling away and so obviously not being into it that made the scene so much worse. And then him coming on her... *shudders* so not what I wanted to read.

Delphine coming out to her mother was. I wish there was less French in this story cause the google translations were not great, but I got the gist of it.

LOL my GSCE French just about managed to get me through all the French in the last chapter. I do wish however that she'd put the translations at the end as an authors note, just so I can be sure what I understood is what I understood.
