Helena dying killed me-I love her character a lot more than the others.

That'd be horrible, but I don't imagine it happening tbh. I think they, in a twisted way, cared about having her as their assassin. The only way I see them shrugging it off is if they find another clone to manipulate right off the bat.

Being their assassin seemed like the only reason why they cared for her, which is terrible.

Those scenes killed me. She wanted to be loved so badly, but by killing her birth mother, it sealed her fate. Sarah would have at least give her some slack so she'd be able to capture her. Killing their mother and saying that she kept them apart isn't an excuse for murdering her.

Still...she loved Sarah so much and each of her attempts to get love, attention and approval was usually in vain. Sarah was so annoyed and focused on making her stop being a problem that she didn't really see her in a human manner. Kira is innocent, so of course a child can see that.

I don't think Helena could have ever been "redeemed". She had been ruined far too long ago by the Proletheans. In the end, she proved Sarah was the only person she really cared about and she would kill anyone who she perceived to be coming between them. She was just too far gone.

I'll always be sad that she died, but it makes sense for her character.

Seeing her kill her mother was horrible. She really did have no actual way to express her anger. The fact that the only other one that she wasn't threatened by was Kira said a lot. She could easily kill Felix without a problem and Mrs. S was a Monitor.

The Proletheans really ruined Helena, so badly that when she met someone that she really cared for she didn't even know how to interact with them and ended up hurting them instead.

Had Sarah not been forced to kill Helena, I think knowing that Sarah hated her and that they'd never be sisters like she wanted would've been just as bad as death for Helena.

She probably died heartbroken, which is what really got to me. I cried because Sarah always made it seem like she didn't give a crap. I want to believe that it's not true,but she was rough with her. Helena was like an abused kitty in the shelter. You have to go slowly with them, make sure they won't scratch you for trying to pet them and just gain their trust. Sarah's personality is just to be impulsive and act without thinking, so she probably hurt Helena, even when she didn't want to.

I think in the beginning Helena had just done too much for Sarah to not see her as a danger and whenever Helena actually made an effort to change Sarah's perception of her it went wrong because she didn't know how to interact with other people in the right way. You can tell Sarah genuinely cares for Helena in some parts, but Helena is so unpredictable that Sarah just couldn't let Helena off the hook so easily. Not when she had so many people relying on her for their protection.

I think Kira had a lot to do with it, tbh. She saw Helena as is b/c children are pure and innocent.
