We're 7 episodes in and nearly half of them have been about Abbie or someone (other than Crane) that she cared about:

S2E1- Was mainly about rescuing Abbie from purgatory.
S2E3- Abbie dealing with her new boss and the evil coin possesses Jenny.
S2E4 - Abbie's former case worker's daughter gets kidnapped.
S2E6 - Abbie's close friend, Sheriff Corbin's son is cursed by the Wendigo.

Granted, Henry was at the source of all the evil that was going on but in these 4 episodes we did get more focus on Abbie and her back story.

Episode one was about Abbie, Crane and Jenney getting out of their predicaments and an introduction to the Katrina/Headless/Henry storyline.

Episode three was about Abbie, Ichy and friends getting back an evil coin and the introduction of a two new characters. As always, Crane all up in the mix. I guess when Abbie gets to speak and not just be seen it's considered HER episode.

Episode four was about a little girl kidnapped, demon of the week filler episode, Abbie not the focus simply because she knew the woman. Introduction to Crane and Hawley working together. Lots of Ichabbie.

Episode six is another demon of the week. Corbin's son is the demon. Crane knows everything and everyone. Introduction to coming love triangle.

We haven't learned anything about Abbie's backstory. We knew her mama was supposedly crazy last year and now Reyes is on the scene to pretty much back that up. And babysitting Corbin's son is not a part of her background.

And each one of those episodes continued to build on the show's overarching theme, Crane wants his family back.

While I do agree with your post that just because it was somebody connected to Abbie's life who was in danger doesn't mean the episode was about her or her development, but please don't say that her post was lies because that's her interpretation of the episode which we're all allowed.

Abbie might have been involved in some of those stories but I have never seen an episode solely about Abbie. Crane has had more than I can count. At the end of the day Abbie still has nothing to do but take care of Crane and now his wife. That is not acceptable.

After reading the reviews I am glad I stopped watching.

Yes I can't recollect an episode that was solely about Abbie. Last night was frustrating to watch, Abbie was of course handling business both intelligently and physically as well, but it felt like watching a babysitter care for two silly children.

ERICA I think they meant it to be funny, but when Ichabod made the crack about her not owning land I was annoyed, then Abbie is paying all his bills? I was like, it's time for Ichabod to get a job, Katrina too, be dammed Abbie gonna be their servant girl AND financially supporting them.

Non Abbie Fans: Didnt Nicole/Abbie shine in that scene. Shes the heart of the show

OMG You hit the nail on the head!! That's literally the comments I've seen about last nites episodes whereas Abbie fans are disconcerted. Abbie basically only exists now to serve, support, protect, and get dissed by the Cranes!!

And characters like Irving & Jennie have basically disappeared!
