Danny is just disjointed. He doesn't fit and like you mentioned before. There is no FBI business Abbie takes care of, not like when she was at the Sheriff's Dept.

I wouldn't miss him anymore than I would miss Zoe or Betsy, though it's nothing to do with the actor in this case, as opposed to Betsy.
The new characters they've introduced this year have all been busts for me; I just don't care. They're not compelling to me. And I actually think the show needs a solid supporting cast, so that's not my problem. The writers' choices are. __________________
