It's barely anything though. She's only dilated 1 inch.

it can come on really quickly. I remember those wretched nurses not taking me seriously when I was 2cm dilated and next they looked I was 8! I could punch them in the face

Oh really? Wow! Yeah the doctor told her that if she dilates one more cm to be at 2cm by her next appointment which is Wednesday, then he'd go ahead and induce her. But she thinks that she's gonna have her baby sooner than that. I'm hoping it's this weekend.

They don't understand what it's like to be a pregnant woman, so I feel like they aren't qualified enough to be saying anything at all. But my sister is so naive, that she listens to everything her doctor says. Even if my mom who has had 4 kids thinks it's the most ridiculous thing she's ever heard.
