Hi guys.
 I'm new to this forum. I can't believe I'm just discovering it! I love the show, and I was so excited when Nelsan Ellis joined the cast! I was hoping he'd become a regular part of the team as Sherlock and Joan's bridge to "the streets" where he helped track down suspects and find witnesses. I was really disappointed when his relationship with Sherlock got so dark. And then he turned so shady. I literally thought that was going to change when Joan got the call to meet him. I was genuinely shocked what happened to him! I actually gasped and then had to look away! Nelsan's eyes were just so ... realistically dead.  Did the producers hint he was going to get killed? |

Welcome !!!! It's great to have new people to discuss around here, like you I really thought Shinwell would be part of the team especially when Sherlock decided to train him. But the moment he hurt Sherlock I thought uh oh still I was shocked he ended like this, a bit of a waste but I guess it was necessary to hurt he JoanLock dynamic a bit! Hope you feel at home here, we're a bit crazy but we can be serious
