I can't think of anything that I hated about S1 I was disappointed that we didn't get the greenhouse scene for Clace.

If I have to be honest, maybe there was too much drama and too much focused on relationships. e.g. clace drama malec/lydia drama.

I mean i get it, in the books there was also focus on the relationships, but there was a healthy balance of information and background story on the shadow world too, and we as tmi fans were able to connect to the shadow world in the books.

As for new fans that has just gotten into tmi/sh world, I'm scared that they might just see Shadowhunter as pairing paradise instead of the magical interesting world of tmi.

I mean was there even a mention of how shadowhunters came to be, Jonathan shadowhunter, raziel, the 3 mortal instruments... i cant even remember...all i remember was jace saying shadow world exist and shadowhunters are there to defend it from evil. A scene to how Shadowhunters came to be would have been nice

There are some issue that I rewatch and I feel like they been focus on relationship too much.. I mean, I was like eh who care.. But anything else was fine..

Well being that I saw "TMI:COB" and "Shadowhunters" before reading the first book, I can understand the want for more details of the shadow world rather than all the pairings. But I think the pairings are the basis to lead into more explanations of the history.

As far as TV Shows/Movies go, we arn't supposed to know too much about the shadow world as we are, in my opinion, to learn about it as Clary does and as her character does, and I'm sure more will be explained in the next season as to history etc.
