In my opinion they're turning Beth into Comic Andrea

Andrea
1. Dated Dale until he died (Age gap) relationship.
2. Had 2/3 scars on her face
3. Fake death when she supposedly fell down the tower
4. Good Aim became a Sharp Shooter.

Beth
1. Supposedly is being set up to be in a age gap relationship with Daryl.
2. has 2/3 scars on her face
3. Rumor of a fake death falling down the elevator shaft
4. Great Aim (might be a sharp shooter in the future)

Now tell me Beth isn't Comic Andrea.

It definitely does sound like that is the direction they are going in.

I would be more shocked if it turns out they're not.

I agree. The blonde ponytail and the scars are very Beth, even if I don't know much about the comics. Great points you listed.
They seem to be adapting from Andrea, and the theory sounds plausible. I like it a lot.

Beth is definitely a survivor. And she can take on a more prominent role now.
Also, she & Daryl already got the bonding & butterflies treatment of a romantic pairing. Not to mention the heartbreaking separation. (and parallel to the age gap relationship in the comics)

Beth's a character we've known. And it's awesome watching her change & adapt. It should be the beginning of a long road for her. *feeling attached*

Didn't know that, but I'm so glad she did. It gets me every time

And they had so many beautiful scenes like this one... it just feels like a set up for something more.

I like Emily's version of the song, but I wish she also recorded another with only the piano, like in the episode, it was so beautiful.
