I really didn't like the Governor in the comics, he irritated me more than anything, but I really love the way he's been portrayed in the show.

David Morrissey is one talented dude (and very sexy too). He's the reason why everyone is all 'I HATE THE GOVERNOR' and deep down, I can't help but go '... why?'

I know he's a psycopath but man, is he captivating.

He almost makes me want to root for him. Almost.

He's a lot better than the comic

To me the comic Governor came across as Whiny.

Though I still have no idea why he needs to know so bad where Rick's group is.

Maybe he thinks they'll jeopardize his place as a leader? Take down Woodbury? Or maybe, just maybe, he gets off on killing people.

I hate him, but he killed me the last episode. SInging to his daughter (and is it just me, or did she calm down some when he was?) and then cradling her dead (dead again?) body on the floor was just insane. He pulled at my heartstrings. Although I will never like him, it's obviously a testament to what an amazing actor David is.
