Can I be added to the op? Thanks Omg poor Rattle had to kill zombie wow talk about a twist! Medley was a jerk but who grew a semi heart at the end. I did not think Merle would go out like that!

I wish that they shouldn't made each other mad from their last conversation.. Plus his reaction when he saw Merle as zombie..

Merle caused a lot of Rickly shipper with his comment to Daryl: Do you have any balls and who has them.

Merle kinda redeemed himself in away. At least he took out some of the Gov' best shooters.

I think Daryl stabbed him repeatedly because Merle was such a loose cannon and he didn't have to do what he did. Merle was saying he couldn't fit in with Rickatorship knowing that Daryl' allegiance is more towards the group then him.

I actually saw similarities with the way Carol disposed of her husband's zombie-eaten corpse back in season one. Carol began bashing her husband's head in with a pick axe to prevent him from coming back as a walker, but it seemed like she was also working out a lot of her anger and aggression towards her abusive husband by repeatedly smashing his head in more than was necessary. I saw Daryl doing the same thing with Merle when he began smashing his brother's head in. Daryl was both saddened by his brother's death and wanting to finish him off, and also angry with Merle for never being there for him, and for being the kind of person he was, which led to his demise.

I actually thought more of Andrea and Amy than Carol. I have to disagree slightly though. I thought Daryl was taking out his frustration at Merle for not being the man he wanted him to be. But the saddest and most devastating part was that Daryl didn't know that Merle eventually redeemed himself in the end
