Poor Peeta, it really was the worst for him. He didn't go to D13e like Katniss and Finnick did or get his family out like you guys said. It was horrible what he had to go through.

the short time he spent in D13 was horrible, not knowing who he was, where were his family, what happened to his home and then Coin sent him to the Capitol and he doesnt even know why

and when Jackson locked him in the closet and Katniss heard him kicking the door and then suddenly it stops and she wonders if he's dead |

He was in a new place with the person the Capitol made him hate the most, he didn't know where his family was or what was going to happen to him He was alone for weeks, rarely seeing someone he knows, as he was recovering. |
