There's a screening of The Masterpiece next week. And it's slated for release later this year.

Movie fans between the ages of 17 and 49 can see James Franco’s The Masterpiece, co-starring Josh Hutcherson, on January 17th in Los Angeles. This screening seems to be another test run of the film, similar to several showings conducted last year. Audience members will again be asked to give feedback. The film is slated to be released later this year. Last week, Franco was reportedly back to editing the film, which tells the behind-the-scenes story of the making of the cult classic The Room. Josh portrays actor Philip Halidman, who played the character Denny in the original film. Tickets are available by following the link above.
