The renewal isn't really a surprise, at least to me, but it's nice to have official confirmation.

Thanks for the news. The hollywood reporter also mentions that the show will likely run for 6 seasons.

Jonah and Lisa have a 5-season plan that they've had worked out since the show went on production hiatus in the middle of Season 1, and so if their deal for the show is for 6 seasons, I'm pretty sure the sixth is optional in case they decide that there's more story they want to tell beyond what they've already planned for.
Having just said that, though, I am also going to say that I think that anyone saying that The Hollywood Reporter confirms that the show will definitely run for 6 seasons is inferring things that aren't really stated. __________________

6 seasons???? no thank you. the show has gone downhill with each season imo. i fear what it would be like in season 6.
but if they have a plan MAYBE it can be okay. I just don think this seasons format works at all. Bring them back to Westworld pls. |
