It doesn't matter what NBC said, but as long the creator tell their idea to NBC and how they want to end and they agree.. Which that's why they gave them extra season.. But I can see S5 be last.. I mean, look at what happened to other MF who keep getting nominated when they want more and more, so it better not to jinx it..

That's true and this is the first year that MF isn't nominated but then again the show is already ending. I do want this show to end on a high note and I hope it doesn't become a 'tiring' show because of the SLs. At most I can see this show last for 6 seasons. I just hope they don't dangle the stories along and add drama just for the sake of it like they're not giving us Jack's backstory because they're saving that for another season. And now we have flash forwards already. It might get busy and gimmicky if they intertwine too many all at the same time.

This show doesn't have a full 22-eps/season which is fine by me and I like that we're only getting 18 every season.

^ Like with Will & Grace, NBC added 2 more eps for the upcoming season. Though I'd prefer that this show has lesser eps than the usual 22 eps of network TV.
