I thought the ending was odd
I have no clue where the next season is heading

the episode was good but not sure if this felt like a finale no.
Perhaps the previous one felt more like a season finale or the one before

I found the finale lucklaster tbh. It was all over the place, a lot of ridiculous plot lines that made no sense (like the Russian soldier not shooting Swagger immediately after he came out of hiding, chatting him up, when he was ordered to kill him or Krukov going outside the motel room when he heard the shots and standing out in the open kind of asking to be shot ) and the ending also came out of the blue. Feels like the writers can't make their minds up whether Johnson is a good guy or not. Guess he's a double agent but I don't know whether the writers want us to trust him or not.

I binge watched the show on Netflix so can't remember whether Swagger rescued his daughter from the Russian Embassy in the finale or the episode before but that was anti-climatic tbh, I expected it to be tougher to break her out, esp. after the cliffhanger that she's held in the basement of the Embassy.

Didn't quite understand the bit with filling off the firing pin, what's that supposed to mean? Did he do it because he expected to be framed? Why didn't he say it sooner to get cleared? Did he do it to uncover the bad guys? Maybe somebody smarter than me can explain it to me.

I generally liked the show but the finale was disappointing

He rescued his wife in episode 9 and his daughter in the finale.

He made no sense why he was a fugitive through all this season when he already had a proof of his innocence

I'm not sure either, but I remember that's the reason he got cleared on the movie.
