The cast actually looks pretty close to how they are described in the books, especially the kids, imo.

I know the movie only covered 3 of the books plus it was very rushed. But in your opinion, was the movie faithful to the books too? Or they could have improved on it?

Never watched the movie either, but I didn't really hear good things from the people I know who watched it.

Honestly, in my opinion, they went faithful to the book.. But I wish that it should be more than how many hour from that movie.. Sigh..

I guess it was okay that they only covered 3. At least for this show, they'll be able to cover all the books. We're going into the 4th book for S2, I think, with the Quagmires. So excited for that book!

And since they covered 3 books for S1, I'm also assuming they'll cover 3 more for S2.

I would say like 2 hours.. But it been long time since I watched it.. But it was pretty good movie for me..

I'm actually curious to watch it. It's not on our local Netflix though and I don't want to buy a DVD to watch it.

I think some movies are sometimes on YT, but you have to pay for them.
