I think that they prob do the family focus since he find out that his wife was having affair and the way he treating his son, it could be his redemption??

The abuse is probably a far stretch. Personally I wouldn't forgive my husband but I'll wait on the show and see how it plays out. I think if he's truly sorry and won't ever hurt Chase again, then they can work on that. They have to show him being remorseful about it.
