Portlandia #1: "The dream of the 90s is alive in Portland!"

This show has been running for long enough to warrant its own thread

Basically its a sketch show which revels in having guest stars mostly from the indie movement from the last decade or so

Thanks for that! I’m still watching the other seasons on Netflix. I've really enjoyed this show.

Seems like Carrie has already got another series on her hands!

interesting that the last episode involved fred and carrie running a marathon around portland, in many ways it is appropriate as the show has been a bit of a marathon

fwiw Carrie's been keeping herself going on the big screen since the show finished

She appeared on a Joaquin Phoenix film "Dont Worry He Wont get Far on Foot"

and she had an uncredited role on the Ed Helms/ Jon Hamm film 'Tag'
