Yeah when I saw him on OITNB I was a little surprised given his comedic background. IMDB says he was in 12 episodes.

I recognize him but don't even recall his character except the vague idea he worked for the prison system. Was he the one whose dad ran the new company that took over the prison?

Yep, and that's how he got the job. But I think he eventually stands up to him and quits.
