All the Berlin flashbacks to me were unnecessary on the OG show especially for the latter seasons. It all felt out of place to me so I somehow understand the spin-off if the character is a fan fave. But not sure I'd watch it.

Exactly, some of the ones were a nice segment into the main story, but most of them wasn't esp. in the last season..

Didn't know where else to put this, so it's going here.

Even though I'm already using Netflix to watch Outlander, I decided to also start rewatching Voltron Legendary Defender, and I still think it's one of the best animated series -Western or otherwise - to be released in the past 20+ years.

Yes, the fandom became a toxic cesspool, but the show itself is incredibly well-written, well-animated, and well-cast, and knowing the full trajectory of where the story goes makes for a even better viewing experience because it makes certain elements stand out more.

Agreed, just felt like they wanted to still include him regardless of whether it made sense or not
