I think the setting also makes it so.They're based on old times but just because they're outdated doesn't mean I accept and like it. I get why people like Simone/Daphne but for me it's a toxic relationship which got even more toxic when they got married.

Be honest, they are not only one who are toxic, the rest of Daphne's brothers are the worst, but.. I still dunno why this author act like they are good guys, but alright.. I felt like the guys was so awful unlike the girls..
