Does anyone watch Claire Danes new show homeland? She is excellent in it.

I've never seen it. I don't typically watch showtime/hbo shows. I only watched Sex and the City on demand

Well, Claire Danes won a Golden Globe for it.

It was her third one- her FIRST one was for My So-Called Life. She totally owned Angela!

She was actually 13-15 during the first season.

Yup ABC cancelled it three times.

It did six episodes than they didn't get to film the next six until the next year. Then they ordered 7 more and finally cancelled the show.

jerks. MSCL spoked the generation that before then didn't have a voice and no one ever considered their problems serious.

I thought MTV wanted to pick it up at some point?

it was such a good show! i always loved angela's voice overs! she was so smart and true to teens.

Angela's voiceovers were amazing.

MTV did pick up MSCL for syndication, they played the series quite frequently in the 90s- but they didn't order new episodes.

she always seemed to voice what everyone was thinking. especially when there was a special guy, a girl they're not sure to be friends with, an old friend they're not longer friends with. it was real issues that made sense
